Education & Lectures

Concussion education and awareness are a fundamental part of the Jefferson Comprehensive Concussion Center's outreach program. Concussion education is key to enabling individuals to know when to recognize a concussion and what to do in the event that you or a person in your care sustains one.

Educational seminars are available to schools and organizations at no cost. Our goal is to share the knowledge of our multidisciplinary team with the community by engaging in true safety partnerships. Our seminars are always geared toward the audience and have included in the past:

  • Physician (CME's)

  • Youth sports organizations & board members

Our seminars cover the following important topics in relation to concussion awareness:

  • Baseline testing

  • Current treatments
  • Myths vs. fact
