Stockton University Raises Funds to Benefit Jefferson Comprehensive Concussion Center
Every year the Jefferson Comprehensive Concussion Center (JCCC) displays a holiday "Giving Tree" in our patient waiting area. We offer opportunities to make a donation to our research arm of the JCCC and in turn we give candy canes for donators to decorate our "Giving Tree”. Our goal is to have our giving tree represent the amount of research we will be able to fulfill due to generous donations.
This year the Stockton University Girls Soccer team held a fundraiser to bring awareness to concussions in sports. They provided education to fans as they attended their home game and not only raised $1,025.00 towards the JCCC research, but most importantly raised awareness of concussions in sports. Stockton University visited the JCCC today to present their "check" to the Director of the JCCC and the Jefferson Foundation manager.
Stockton’s initiative was spearheaded by Jackie Adams, a patient who found success through her treatment at the Jefferson Comprehensive Concussion Center for Post-Concussion Syndrome. See Jackie’s full story here.
